View research catalogue entry for this paper
Hi
In Mendeley desktop, when clicking on a document, in the details tab, below the list of authors, there is an option to click :"View research catalogue entry for this paper"
Following this link, takes one to the Mendeley catalogue entry for the document, importantly where the number of citations of the document is shown.
This link is not present in Mendeley Web. I am I just missing it somewhere? Or is it not there?
Ideally I would just like to see a column in both Mendeley Desktop or Mendeley Web libraries where number of citations is listed, but the next best would be able to go via a single click from Mendeley Web document, to the Mendeley catalogue for the document, so I can see the citation count

Save to mendeley doesn't work
Few days ago, 'save to mendeley' doesn't work. In detail, it showed the 'save' button when I pressed 'save to mendeley' before. But now, it doesn't show the 'save' button and keeps loading and loading. I don't know what I have to do.

Synchronize mendeley desktop with mendeley library
Dear
I have installed mendeley last year on my PC at home, and it worked fine.
Now I want to have it working on my computer at work. I reinstalled Mendeley desktop here and I retrieved all the references I added before (but without PDF attachments).
I reinstalled the webimporter (via Chrome) and the Word-importer.
However, when I select new references via Pubmed, they appear to be saved on my Mendeley online library, but I cannot get them synchronized into the reference list on Mendeley Desktop.
Could you help me out with this?

In trying to import using google chrome web importer, it keeps asking me to sign in but doesn't actually give me a mechanism to sign in. I'm signed in online and tried changing the cookies setting, but it's still not working. Help! I'm new to Mendeley and this is very frustrating as a first experience...

Web Plugin does not login Firefox
I installed the web importer in Firefox (ver 57.0.1, for Mac). The addon installs successfully and displays the icon. When I click the icon to upload the paper displayed in the webpage of interest, a Sign In pops up and after clicking on SignIn icon, the window disappears and nothing happens. I use the NoScript blocker but I whitelisted all Mendeley/Elsevier products. Any idea if this is a problem on my end or on the Plugin itself?

Search results different in desktop to online
Hi
When I do a search from within Mendeley desktop and compare to the same search on my online library I get far more search results in the desktop version. The online search only returns articles where the search terms are in the article titles whereas the desktop search returns articles where the search terms are mentioned anywhere in the article.
Is there a way to get the online search tool to look through the entire content rather than just the article titles? I find the results in the desktop search are much better but need to run searches while away from my PC and using the online library.

Exporting PDFs from Mendeley Web
Hi,
I would like to download all of the PDFs I have saved onto Mendeley to a network drive and wondered if there is a way to do this as a batch, or if I need to do it one by one?
I can't download/use Mendeley Desktop due to my organisation's IT policies (very annoying!!), so I need to download them through Mendeley Web.
Help will be very much appreciated!

Chrome Extension of Mendeley Web Importer not working
Chrome web importer isn't working. I did chat with a Mendeley correspondent but couldn't come to a solution. Reinstalled chrome with new Mendeley extension.
It keep redirecting me to Elsevier login page, but after filing in the credentials its back to sigin page.

Web login problems
I have some troubles with login to Elsevier Mendeley. Desktop version works well, but when I try to log in to web Mendeley with my account komelkov@gmail.com, it says "Incorrect password", meanwhile I know exactly, that I use correct password and I didn't change it. When I try to reset password, I receive error from Elsevier after transition to the link received in the password reset letter. How can I reach my web Mendeley account?

I cannot find the folder 'unsorted'.
"Recently added" is the last folder on the general row, before my personal folders.
How can I retrieve the folder "unsorted"?
Now I have to go to "recently added" to see which ones I just added, so i can place them in their respective folders.

splash screen won't close
I'm unable to use my library on Mendeley Web. When I log in I get the introductory splash screen and there does not seem to be any way to close it. It blocks the rest of the window and entering a search term doesn't help, either. I'm using Windows 10.

Web and desktop import not working. Non-specific (ie says, something went wrong) reason given on web
How do I find out and then fix import problems when trying to import files from Ovid? I've tried using RIS and endnote xml to export from Ovid. Export is successful but import is not. I am trying to import less than 200 references from Ovid. Neither web nor desktop import works. Desktop import doesn't give indication to what the problem is and Mendeley web import gives non-specific indication. Just says, "something went wrong". Anyone come across this and know what the problem is +/- how to fix this?

text selection for highlighting does noe work correctly
In web version in an article, "selection lines" to highlight sometimes does not work.
I have tested in several browsers such as Firefox, Chrome and Microsoft edge but it seems it has no dependency on browser software and it is a Mendeley web problem.

Web importer Chrome extension opening off-screen/not working with IEEE
When I try to open the Chrome extension to import IEEE papers, the window opens mostly off-screen and cannot be moved. Problem hasn't occurred with other sites. Allowing cookies for mendeley.com did not fix the issue.

Notes section
When I type in notes section on right hand side panel when item selected - it sometimes saves as I type and I see the word 'saving' on top of the panel, but at other times this does not work and I lose the notes that I have typed. Can you provide a solution for this.

Web importer Chrome extension
When I try to use the Chrome extension to import papers from Scopus database, the window which opens keep asking me to login/create a free mendeley account even though I am already logged into my own account on the Mendeley website. I have tried multiple times loggin without any success. I have also try re-downloading the Chrome extension but it keeps asking me to sign in.

How to use web importer with researchgate?
I have tried to use Mendeley Web Importer to download a reference to a paper available on ResearchGate. However, when pressing the Mendeley Import button in Chrome the add-on window was without any fields. In case of other resources (e.g., ScienceDirect, Web of Science, ...) it works. Is there a problem with importing references from ResearchGate?

Constantly Crashing
I am having massive issues with Mendeley today. It keeps crashing randomly, sometimes as soon as I open it, other times half way through reading a document. All my papers are stored here so very inconvenient. There is no pattern to it, has done it on multiple files, and I have tried Chrome and Explorer.

Mendeley password won't work
Hi there,
I'm a librarian at Western Michigan University who serves as our unofficial Mendeley support person. My colleague Carrie Leatherman (carrie.leatherman@wmich.edu) can successfully login to Mendeley Desktop, but when she tries login to Mendeley web using the exact same password it will not work in M. Web.
In addition, a colleague of hers has invited her to a private group. My Colleague Carrie has received the group invitation but can't accept it because again Mendeley Web will not accept her password.
Can you please check her account and figure out what is the problem? She cannot even access this support page because Mendeley web won't let her login.

"Email us", "Help" and login not working! Please help!
Hi,
I am using Mac and can synchronize my desktop version under login ga_stizheva@yahoo.com and password I've used for last 8 years for my Mendeley account. However, I cannot login to the website (new Elsevier login page recognizes my email as login, but says my password is incorrect). I've tried Safari and Chrome, both on Mac platform.
I've tried to reset my password, the link I've got within email opens a page with "We're sorry, but an error has occurred. Please try again." message. Clicking on the "Help" link on the same page results in the same message.
I've found "Email us" on this page, it opens the form with crappy partially fillable form fields (overlapping text all over) and found after I fill it out with my info, button "Contact us" does not work - nothing happens, the link in the button is dead!
I had to create a separate login to Mendeley in order to somehow contact developers. Please fix the multiple issues with access to Mendeley. Again, I have this account for more than 8 years and contributed to the glory of Mendeley by advertising it to my colleagues. Now I start to feel regretting about it.

Internal server error
Dear Mendeley support staff,
My Mendeley plugin and Mendeley desktop work well, however the Webpage doesn´t let me log in for at least over a month now. Every time I try to log in, the message "We're experiencing an internal server problem within Mendeley. Our team has been notified and we will do our best to make sure it does not happen again." shows up. At first I though it was just the site crashing, but I haven´t seen anyone else commenting with the same problem, so I´m starting to believe that it is specifically my account which has a problem.
