Web importer only downloads Reference but no PDF
Hello, I'm using the web importer for chrome and I noticed that two days ago it stoped working properly. Everytime I try to download a PDF along with the Reference it only saves the reference.

P.S.: I already closed chrome and rebooted my laptop but it didn't fix it. I'm using a Mac with OS Sierra.

Can't login through the Chrome plugin.
I can't log in through the Chrome plugin for Mendeley. Whenever I try to log in, it says Logging In.. but then reverts to the login page. I'm sure I filled in the correct credentials as I've tried logging in for about 20 times.
When I click "Forgot Password" I get an internal server error.
What's happening? Anything I can do to solve this?

pdf imported as corrupt
Using the web browser importing tool I import the reference and PDF (two green check marks). When I sync my desktop application, the reference and PDF file are saved. However, I cannot open the PDF file to view: not within Mendeley Desktop nor when I navigate to the file itself. Adobe error meddage: "Format error: not a PDF or corrput".

Why is blog.mendeley.com raining dots?
I tried both Chrome and Firefox (Windows 7), when I visits https://blog.mendeley.com/2016/12/05/mendeley-brainstorm-hacking-we-have-a-winner/, the screen is raining dots, seems to be some kind of js/css effects, which is very distracting.

Web importer 'not finding' articles from certain journals on science direct
For certain journals on science direct the web importer for chrome (bookmarklet and chrome extension) gives the error "{"error":"Page not found"}". For other journals on science direct it works perfectly fine
For example: Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews - does not work

Creating citations/bibliography from Mendeley web
Is there a way to create citations or a bibliography using Mendeley web?
I don't have Microsoft Word on my computer (I rely on Google Docs, like many) and I can't seem to find a way to create citations using the web app.

Update created problem with web importer
Hi there,
I just installed the update and when I try to import an article from the web using the plug-in, it just opens my library or the new interface with connections etc. I must say, although the idea is cool, the UX needs a lot of work. I have no idea how to get from that page to getting my stuff imported (ie the actual reason I downloaded the plug-in). Might I give the feedback to make the button work like before (ie click and pop-up with saving info)? Is there a step I am missing, because I need to save new files from the web to my library?

Web Importer STILL not working on Safari
Hi,
It has now been months since the web importer actually worked. PLEASE fix this. It has worked fine for at least 5 years and suddenly it falls to pieces. Doesn't let me sign in on Safari at all. I don't want to have to open all my papers in Chrome just to import them... (Elsevier has been set as an exception. Also doesn't help).

I'm currently using a chromebook and only have access to my mendeley account. I'm wondering how I can export citations onto a word document (to create a works cite/reference list).

APA style
To cite webpage in APA style:
Last name, Initial (s). (date). Title of document. Retrieved from address.
*The "Title of document" should be in Italic
However, when I use web importer to cite webpage. I found the "Title of document" is not in Italic.
How would I change it?

He enviado varios mensaje en inglés referentes a los problemas de importación con Scopus, pero te lo vuelvo enviar en español para explicártelo con más claridad:
No podemos importar referencias a Mendeley desde Scopus mediante el Web Importer de Google Chrome ni de Mozilla Firefox (con este último tenemos además problemas de instalación de la extensión).
¿No se puede utilizar el Web Importer con Scopus? ¿Por qué pasa esto precisamente con Scopus, también de Elsevier?

Is it possible to have more info than: "Sorry, we couldn't save this item to your library"
Saving a newly added document it happens tha the system rejects with only the folowing message "Sorry, we couldn't save this item to your library".
Is it possible to have more info, explaining the motivations of the rejections so that I can try to correct or just abandon, nowing why?

Web Importer add-on not displaying in Firefox
I have downloaded the Web Importer add-on to Firefox, it is listed in my add-ons, but it is not displaying in the browser add-ons menu bar. What are possible solutions for this?

chrome web importer
I previously used the chrome web importer with no problem but when I try to save a reference from the web now, it is instead opening a window with my mendeley feed. How do I go back to saving an article?

My web importer seems to have hung and is not importing any references at all. I tried restarting the computer and trying to sync with desktop but the importer still will not import. It hangs and says "saving" and "0%".
